Greetings from the Conrad’s

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Conrad’s. We have lived in Reno for three years, and this year Army beat Navy!
Exciting news this year, is that in June Bryan became engaged to Kathryn Hobbs from Ohio. They met while Bryan was stationed in New Orleans. The wedding is scheduled for this Spring. He is now stationed in Puerto Rico.

The girls are doing well in academics and sports. Both of the girls now attend Reno High School; Joanna is a Freshman and Kailey, a Junior. The girls both competed in gymnastics this year. Joanna won all-around at the Manhattan Classic, in New York City. Kailey finished up her gymnastics career and moved onto to Cross Country, where she varsity lettered.

We currently have a Golden Labrador Retriever named Teddy. He is now 15 months old. We enjoy taking him on many of our adventures, including hikes up in the Tahoe area. His brother, George lives with Bill’s sister and mom. The labs see each other often and get along well.

On a side note, we attended our first Nevada Caucus. It was interesting and engaging. It is politics at its best. People come together to discuss and debate politics, and come to a consensus for their presidential party nominee. Karen certified the vote in our precinct and worked at the polls for the general election.
